We believe fine jewelry shouldn't feel like a museum — it should feel like you. Each piece we carry is chosen for its craftsmanship, its character, and its ability to live beautifully in a modern life, whether it was made a century ago or this season.

How We Began

A Legacy in the Making

The house was founded by Manju Surana in the 1980s. Inspired by her husband Ashok Surana's gemstone business, she built MonaLisa Jewelry Inc. around the jewelry she loved most — estate and vintage pieces chosen for their craftsmanship, their character, and the lives they had already led. We've sought them out ever since.

A New Generation

Today the house passes to a new generation — Manju's daughter, Neha, and daughter-in-law, Nicole. Juniper Road is their chapter: a more curated expression of MonaLisa that keeps the estate and vintage pieces we've always loved and pairs them with a new collection of modern fine jewelry — the heirloom and the contemporary.

In New York

An NYC House

A generation ago, Manju and her husband left India for New York, started a family, and have worked from the city since the 1980s. Our office sits in the Diamond District — the stretch of 47th Street where the jewelry trade has long gathered. From there we show at trade shows across the United States and abroad, and, over the decades, have built a devoted following of collectors who return to us season after season.
