A striking pair of platinum earrings from the 1980s, each a whirling pinwheel of diamonds: a round brilliant at the center, four channel-set baguette scrolls spiraling outward like petals, and a border of round brilliants tracing the bloom — approximately 12 carats total for the pair. The openwork between the scrolls keeps the design light and lets it catch the light from every angle. They fasten with posts and hinged clip backs for a secure hold.
